The socks are made of a yarn containing silver ions, which reduce the growth of microbes and thus limit their growth on the skin beyond the natural level and ensure a long-lasting antibacterial and antifungal effect. The effect of silver is enhanced by the addition of the antimicrobial finish Sanitized®. Studies have shown that the antimicrobial effect of the socks is still effective even after 50 washes.
